General Data Protection Regulation 2018 Privacy Notice
The new data protection regulation comes into effect from 25th May 2018 and replaces previous data protection regulation. Guildford Counselling Resource Centre Counsellors will each have individual privacy notices. Guildford Counselling Resource Centre Counsellors ensure that GCRC client assessment and contact information is confidential and stored securely. Counsellor session notes are also anonymous, confidential and stored securely, separate from assessment/contact information. Once counselling sessions have finished, GCRC client emails and phone numbers will be deleted. Assessment forms and notes will be kept for a period of 7 years or for a period agreed with individual Counsellors. Please ask your Counsellor if you have any queries about the GCRC Privacy Notice.
